The Auxillia Mechanica formed in response to the Illuminate's initial invasion of the galaxy on Calypso. Realizing that the mind could be corrupted and the flesh warped by heretical influence to turn one into a cruel mockery of the human body.
The Auxillia Mechanica swear by the strength and certainty of steel, as metals cannot be warped or bent into heresy nor can mechanical minds be swayed. We strive to become truly free of the vulnerabilities of mortality, or at least improve on what sacred machinery we already have. Most of our legions are simply augmented with prosthesis or implants, but others, the ones who actualise the Will of the Machine, have became more.
Function:
The Auxillia Mechanica provides mechanized support to any battlefield, using vehicles and exosuits to crush any opposition on the battlefield as well as sentries and emplacements to hold positions and provide automated fire support to their squadrons.
