-The 888th Siege Army was formed at the start of the 2nd Galactic War. Known for its hard-fought engagements and the heavy losses suffered during the frontline operations from Malevelon Creek and the barrier planets of the Umlaut Sector, to the Siege Of Troost
-Under the reforms of the Escalation of Freedom Initiative, the 888th Siege Army was restructured and downsized into the 88th Siege Regiment. The transformation aimed to create a more adaptable and resilient unit
-The 88th now stands as a highly adaptable regiment ready to be deployed when and wherever a breakthrough is needed
