The 81st specializes in adaptive tactics according to mission. As such, the battalion can directly bolster operational effectiveness through enemy suppression, anti-armor capabilities, long-range support, and recon all throughout a span of an operation.
Helldivers deployed by this unit tend to rely on jetpacks for increased maneuverability during missions, especially in light of heavy equipment and weapons. The 81st has a historically limited supply of exo suits and pilots, but can deploy exo suits when operational needs absolutely call for it.
