2nd Scorchborn
"Second Company of the 9th Hellraisers"
The 2nd Company, nicknamed the Scorchborn , has been established when the 9th Hellraisers were officially absorbed into the Helldiver Corps, shortly after their losses on Malevelon Creek.
For a brief period of time they have been acting as the spearhead of the newly reformed 9th, allowing the 1st Company to regain their numbers and enlist new recruits into the fold.
The 2nd have been at forefront during the grueling and tremendous campaign on Meridia, acting as a strategical and surgical force under the command of their captain, Dez, who have been leading them with cold ferocity throughout the destruction of the Super Colony.
If the 1st is the Hammer, the 2nd is the Anvil, their staunch loyalty and brutality in combat is only paralleled by their strategical acumen. Their motto Our Wrath is Fire, Our Mercy is Ash stems from their willingness to go scorched earth against anything and anyone that threatens their ideal of liberty.
