It's Time to Do It Again

Two years ago, the Helldivers community had to pick between FINALLY unlocking the mines, or saving a fictional children's hospital on Vernen Wells. The community picked the kids, and Pilestedt donated $4,311 to Save the Children. Last year, the Freedom Alliance turned that spirit into the first HEROES fundraiser, and the community came together to raise over $120,000 for the same cause.

This year, we are all joining forces to do something bigger. HEROES '26 runs from June 23rd through 28th, 2026, hosted by Commissar Kai & friends, organized by the Freedom Alliance, and supported by Arrowhead Game Studios. Every dollar raised goes to Save the Children.

Major Order: Save the Children

At the heart of HEROES '26 is a six-day stream marathon on Twitch and YouTube, featuring more than 20 creators joining forces, including Commissar Kai, Bricky, Super Earth Salute, and many more. Viewers can donate through Tiltify and watch the community hit milestones live as we assault Yed Prior and push back the Automatons together.

The Charity Auction

Running alongside the streamathon is a live charity auction on Tiltify, featuring one-of-a-kind Helldivers-themed items you can't get anywhere else. Signed custom props, unique artwork from Arrowhead Studios artists, and more. The auction opens June 23rd and closes June 28th.

Track Your Impact on HD2Clans

We've built a dedicated page right here on HD2Clans to track community progress during the event: hd2clans.com/heroes26.

The page covers what the campaign is about and links every official channel in one place. During the event itself it will also track in-game stats for the assault on Yed Prior, and you'll be able to drop into the Alliance Order developed by Commissar Kai - Major Order: Save The Children - to log your reports for the duration of the campaign. Your kills, samples, and missions will contribute toward the community goals on Yed Prior and across the galaxy.

The First Super Destroyer Skin

To mark the occasion, we built something that has never existed in The Hangar before: a Super Destroyer skin, lovingly crafted by resident shipmaster Alucard Hellsing.

Every Helldiver who participates in the Alliance Order and deploys to Yed Prior during the event will permanently unlock the HEROES '26 Super Destroyer skin. It's the first new look for any ship in The Hangar, and it's yours to keep on your Super Destroyer forever as a memento of the campaign.

Building one skin sounds simple, but to do it properly we had to put down something much bigger underneath it: the skin system. We have now laid the foundation for ships to have different looks; HEROES '26 is the first skin to ship, but the system is built to grow long-term and host many more.

That opens the door to all kinds of things down the road... future event skins, milestone unlocks, achievement rewards, maybe even a Prestige system someday. The foundation is in place now, and we'll add to it as we have the time.

And if you don't care about skins at all, no problem. Hulls and the Paint Shop work exactly like they did before, and you can leave your Super Destroyer looking exactly how you have it today.

In 2024 the community chose the kids. In 2025 we raised over $120,000. This year we're going for something bigger, and we'd love to have your help, whether you're streaming, bidding, donating, or just sharing the page with a friend.
