WFAR 437.7 turns one year old! In this news post, we'll tell you about the radio stream, introduce the new Radio Module for Melchior, and tell you how you can win one of five WFAR 437.7 shirts just by listening!

What is WFAR 437.7?

The Freedom Alliance radio is a 24/7 livestream developed by ADeafBlindMan and Ash, and hosted by DJ Liberty. The radio plays nonstop and features a variety of music, in-universe commercials (no actual ads), and news bumps from creators like PhantomXT.

The live feed on Twitch also includes a rotation of posters, your clan logos, and other fun content. We even cast an audio-only feed if you want to listen without going through Twitch!

If you want to get involved or featured on WFAR, there's two ways you can reach out:
1. If you want to have a community ad featured on the radio, visit this page to submit a request. Only audio is required. If approved, your audio ad will run on the radio to reach listeners!
2. If you want to suggest a track we should add to the music rotation, use this form. (Note: Please do not suggest AI-written music, as we do not play AI-generated content on the radio)

Radio Module - WFAR, right in your server!

To celebrate the anniversary, we've created the Radio Module, which lets Melchior hang out in a voice channel and stream WFAR to any community members who want something to listen to! Use /setupmodules to get started.

The /setupmodules menu explains how the Module works. Once you have picked a VC, Melchior will autoconfigure the channel and sit in the channel. When people enter the channel, Melchior will start streaming the radio! And when everyone leaves, it'll stop the radio feed, until someone rejoins later. Melchior will also show the currently playing track's name as a channel status on the voice channel.

If you want to disable the radio VC, simply disable the Radio Module using /setupmodules.
