Dated three SEST cycles ago, a distress signal was intercepted from Un-Liberated space on a Class-C frequency. Intercept vessels sent to the location uncovered the wreckage of a colony ship, drifting in space with no signs of life.
Relocation and burial will be provided to recovered crew bodies, but our focus lies on the ship. Plans are underway to relocate, repair, and repurpose her for use in the N.O.M.A.D. fleet, but this will take time. Ordinarily, this wouldn’t be an issue, but a problem arises in the form of a third party that intercepted the distress frequency, the Automaton Legion.
While resources are allocated to repairs, we're to halt Automatons' convergence on the ship repair site where the Armor Division's personnel will be at work—with any dead bots being sent over to them for parts. This will give them enough time to restore function to the ship's thrusters and vital systems, then transport it to a secure site for further repair initiatives.
