Lore Series I — The Forging of Wrath
"Liberty is not negotiated. It is delivered from orbit."
Commissioned during the early years of the Second Galactic War, the SES Hammer of Wrath was built for a single purpose—to remind every enemy of Super Earth that the sky itself belongs to Managed Democracy.
Unlike ceremonial flagships or fleet command vessels, Hammer of Wrath was classified as a Rapid Orbital Punishment Platform, designed to accompany Helldiver strike teams into the most hostile warzones. Its crew quickly gained a reputation for one thing: if the Hammer entered orbit, surrender was already too late.
Every stratagem launched from her decks carried the same message:
There is no refuge beneath the gaze of Super Earth.
"Before Liberty reaches the ground, Wrath claims the sky."
— Redacted
Lore Series II — The First Baptism
The Hammer of Wrath received its first combat deployment over an isolated colony overrun by Terminids.
SEAF command predicted a month-long liberation campaign.
The Hammer's Helldivers completed it in three days.
Orbital bombardments reduced Hive Lords to burning craters while Eagle squadrons painted the horizon in democratic fire. Survivors reported seeing the sky glow red long after the fighting ended.
The Ministry of Truth later declared:
"The operation exceeded expectations. Casualties were within acceptable patriotic limits."
The ship earned its unofficial nickname that day—
"The Sky That Falls Back."
"Three days were all Democracy needed."
— Redacted
Lore Series III — Iron Against Iron
When the Automatons launched a major offensive, the Hammer of Wrath was reassigned to the western front.
Factories disappeared beneath precision orbital strikes.
Dropships were destroyed before touching the ground.
Entire armored battalions vanished beneath synchronized 380mm barrages.
Intercepted Automaton transmissions repeated a single designation:
"Orbital Threat Priority Alpha."
For the crew, it was simply another successful deployment.
Machines calculate.
Liberty does not.
"Steel may resist bullets. It cannot resist orbit."

Lore Series IV — The Cost of Democracy
The walls inside the ship bear no medals.
Only empty cryo-pods.
Every Helldiver who falls is immediately replaced by another volunteer, eager to continue the mission without hesitation. The names of the fallen are recorded, honored, and then the next drop begins.
The crew has long stopped counting.
The Hammer of Wrath does not mourn.
It reloads.
Because Democracy cannot wait.
"Helldivers may fall. Liberty never does."
— Redacted
Lore Series V — Wrath Eternal
Across every sector of the Galactic War, one transmission precedes the arrival of the Super Destroyer:
"SES Hammer of Wrath has entered low orbit."
Enemy morale collapses.
SEAF troops cheer.
Helldivers tighten their capes.
The countdown begins.
The Hammer has never claimed to be invincible.
Only inevitable.
For as long as one Helldiver remains willing to dive...
Wrath will always come from above.
"As long as one Helldiver still answers the call... Wrath will always come from above."
— Code name "SanFox"
