I keep thinking back to the day the Void appeared, that day something felt wrong a sensation in the back of my mind. I know realize what it was.
On menkent, kraken hunters have a tradition, and the Dark Kraken keep it. Consuming the blood of your kill. And i have been consuming Illuminate blood for a while. When we finally entered the void I felt a unearthly chill run down my spine. It was haunting a like something trying to break in.
But I ignored it kept fighting, destroying the illuminates vial perversiona of nature. But once i got to the source planet something changed. The whole crew felt it. But I am the only one who saw it. Visions of terror. Super earth burning, torture, something on Calypso then it all went black. I found myself alone in black room before me a mound of corpses, Above it a bright light, and behind me what i now realize was the Void itself, trying to get in. But no matter what i tried it couldn't get in. So I climbed, up, and up, and up. Then suddenly i was back on the source planet, fighting.
By the time the Void fell i hadn't yet realized what was going on, but i know i had to go home.
