1 week before the attack on Cyberstan, excited and nervous and every emotion running the hellpod as it was falling. This planet was controlled by automatons with hints that these clankers were sending everything they had at this planet including the well known fire brigade. Once my boots hit the ground I called down my stratagems and followed my commanding officers.
The mission was rough and we were running out of time but we had a chance and we had to take it, my weapons were useless against the enemy, too many heavy armored units all I could do was draw attention to allow the team to get the objectives done. I was feeling hopeless but I pushed on until finally evac came with a sigh of relief I ran to only be met by an army crowding the pad and right behind me Cammader Phantom yells out and charges “protect the asset!”, right behind him was Commander Golem, two of our finest divers. Golem stops and tells me to use every stim to get on that ship, with phantom taking down as many as he could before he fell we didn't have time nor a chance to call him in. Golem made a gap in the horde that allowed me to get to the ship, though when I looked back the gap had closed and he didn't make it through but all I could see was explosions and flames covering the land as Golem keeps fighting, he tried to make it on the ship but was knocked away he gets up and gives me a salute just before evac leaves the biggest explosion I had seen yet wipes out every clankers in sight and his body be swallowed by the light.
Back on the ship and my first dive being done by myself I gave a sigh of relief and defeat, Phantom and Golem gave me the training I needed to handle myself and now it's time to define the diver I want to be. Lvl 5 wasn't much but for me it was a start, the mission started rough but slowly as I progressed everything started to run smoother and I made it one piece.
Finally the dive for cyberstan was here, back with phantom and golem and boots in the ground, lvl 46 now, 1 week of grinding to prepare myself. Boots on the ground we were greeted by an army and a machine we knew nothing but it's name “Vox machine” thankfully golem came prepared and took it down with almost no effort, now most would think a low level with very little experience I'd be able to handle groups of enemies like this but with my new loadout and finding who I am as a diver I came prepared. With one shotgun blast a time the double freedom proved itself once more why this shotgun is the best in the game.
