The SES Sword of Dawn is the personal SD of the Founding Grandmaster of the Silent Blade Holy Order, Seran Storme. Commissioned in during the First Galactic War, it has seen enough combat missions that its dossier is thicker than the its own hangar bay. On two separate occasions, the Sword of Dawn took significant structural damages, to the point that it should have been destroyed, and yet kept going on to aid in victory.

The Sword of Dawn is not a vanguard ship, though one could be forgiven for believing it. Seran Storme has always moved before the vanguard, for as the advanced recon specialist. he must gather information to distibute to the clan as a whole.

When the Clan prepares to move, The SES Sword of Dawn and her captain are already en route.
