SES Father of Freedom was originally commissioned as part of the Baldrick Prime Rising Stars Initiative as a training vessel for top-tier junior officer cadets and promising young recruits. Designed to showcase Super Earth’s commitment to "investing in tomorrow’s Liberators," the ship was equipped with state-of-the-art observation decks, broadcast suites for recruitment propaganda, and a surprisingly high-end cafeteria.

However, after the entire senior class was "expeditiously graduated" directly into the frontline during Operation Iron Veil, the Father of Freedom was retrofitted for immediate, high-intensity combat. Today, it serves as a stern reminder to every newly unfrozen Helldiver onboard: Freedom isn't just taught; it's enforced with high-explosive artillery.
