The SES Hammer of Dawn does not drift quietly among the fleets of Super Earth—it looms. Its hull is scorched from repeated orbital strikes, its paint blistered and re-layered so many times that no one aboard remembers its original color. Official records list it as a standard-issue Super Destroyer within the armada of Helldivers 2, but among Helldivers it carries a different reputation: the ship that never cools, and with blood dried on its hull.

From orbit, the Hammer of Dawn is rarely idle. Its weapon arrays cycle constantly, venting heat in glowing plumes that streak across its spine. The ship’s gunnery crews joke—quietly, and only off-record—that the vessel itself prefers firing napalm barrages to resting. Whether that’s superstition or a reflection of its command culture is unclear. What is clear is that wherever the Hammer of Dawn deploys, the battlefield below becomes an inferno.
