The ship was taken out of service as heavily damaged and was far too expensive to repair. The ship was then taken to the black market where it was supposed to be dismantled and sold for parts. But a scientist bought the entire ship and had it immediately repaired in a dry dock. After that, he began linking his Neuralink with the ship and no longer appeared in the fleet monitoring program. He deleted the system on the ship and added his own. He upgraded the ship to complete automation so that everything can now be done solely thru his neural connection.
