SES Edict

Shortly after the construction of the democracy-class supercarrier SES the Ballot, an issue arose: due to the sheer size the Ballot was an easy target, and would require a secondary, smaller vessel to be assigned to its protection. However, due to recent losses in the fleet, SEF did not have such a vessel available. In order to acquire such a vessel, negotiations were opened with Hephaestus Forges, and a deal was closed. As part of the deal, the Ballot deployed to Menkent on the 16th of May, 2186, and assisted in its liberation. In exchange for its assistance, Hephaestus Forges started work on a new Liberation-class escort frigate as soon as the forge was liberated, known as the SES Edict. It's construction was completed shortly after, and it was assigned to the protection of SES the Ballot from that moment forward.
