IHCS Valiant Heart

Commissioned 22 May 2186, the Valiant Heart was refitted for command duty: extended scanning arrays, hardened defensive systems, and a central command and control suite running the length of her upper decks. Her current captain added twelve point-defense turrets, five heavy railguns and two 3RF nine-barreled rapid-fire cannons.

She first flew under Battalion Commander Wildcard. Today she answers to her former First Officer, the infamous Fleet Captain Splitz.

X-45 remains the clearest measure of her worth. Her scanners read through the ash cover to map a platinum seam beneath the ridgeline; her guns held the approach until the 17th Armored Brigade could secure it and lift thousands of civilians off the surface.

The Valiant Heart now serves as flagship of the Achilles Group. Her most recent refit added the C.O.R.T.A.N.A. battle AI, which coordinates her guns, advises on tactical decisions and has sharply cut her required crew complement; the most advanced AI in the SEAF Navy
