SES Ranger Pathfinder

The SES Ranger Pathfinder is a modernized Liberation-Class Escort Frigate assigned to the Rangers SESF Expeditionary Force. Originally designed as an interwar patrol vessel, it was rebuilt by Hellsing Heavy Industries in 2184 and repurposed as the Rangers' primary exploration and reconnaissance ship. Tasked with charting unknown systems, surveying worlds, and establishing forward operating zones, the Pathfinder leads the way into hostile frontiers.

Though built for exploration, the vessel remains heavily armed and combat-ready. Its rugged hull, advanced sensor suite, and escort capabilities allow it to protect both itself and allied ships while gathering critical intelligence in contested space.

The Pathfinder earned distinction during Operation Righteous Reclamation in September 2185, supporting the first Ranger deployments to Oshaune. Operating near Outpost Alpha, it coordinated Helldiver extractions, transported researchers, and safeguarded vital sample recovery.
