The SES Bastion of Defiance is among the oldest active warships in Super Earth's arsenal, her keel laid during the opening years of the First Galactic War. She fought Cyborg legions, survived Illuminate ambushes, and shattered Terminid swarms. Her finest hour came at the Battle of New Haven's Gate, where she defended evacuation corridors for six days after losing her entire escort, refusing to retreat until the last civilian transport escaped. The crew's transmission—"Defiance holds"—became her eternal motto. Among the evacuees was Bao-7, the last genetically engineered Robo-Panda from the New Haven Zoo. Preserved in a cryogenic display aboard the ship, Bao-7 is considered her lucky charm and a symbol of what Super Earth fights to protect. Now serving with the 716th Irregulars, the Bastion remains too stubborn to die and too proud to yield.
