SES Helios

An escort class frigate owned by the 9th Hellraisers, the SES Helios proudly bears the livery of the Phalanx Ferrea. Serving as a dedicated vanguard breakthrough vessel, her primary mandate is to provide overwhelming orbital fire support and clear landing zones for the mechanized division's heavy armor during high-risk planetary drops. True to her namesake as the personification of the sun, the Helios is a blinding force on the battlefield: her forward-facing offensive grid, bristling with "Bulwark" PD Laser Turrets and "Prosecutor" Autocannons, incinerates incoming missile salvos and shreds dropship interceptors before they can threaten the deployment. The SES Helios can also utilize her "Sabre" Twin-linked Railcannon Turrets to punch well above her weight class, turning enemy bastions to molten slag and ensuring the iron might of the division touches down unopposed.
