Commissioned by the 36th Rough Riders, the Bastion-Class Fleet Support Tender Guardian of Resolve was designed after countless campaigns revealed a simple truth: victories are won not only by orbital guns, but by the ships that keep the guns firing.
Unlike a Super Destroyer, the Guardian of Resolve rarely enters the spotlight. Its cavernous bays carry replacement Eagles, Pelican components, ammunition, Hellpods, medical facilities, engineering workshops, and supplies destined for embattled Helldivers across multiple sectors. When a fleet suffers catastrophic losses, it is often the first vessel to arrive and the last to leave.
Among the 36th Rough Riders, the appearance of the Guardian of Resolve is considered a sign that Super Earth has not abandoned its warriors. Veterans simply say:
"If you see the Bastion, you live to fight another day."
