The SES Dawn of Perseverance was once the Spear of Science, nearly destroyed over Malevelon Creek. After losing half its crew to an orbital cannon while stubbornly staying behind to shield a retreating squad, the scarred vessel was completely rebuilt, heavily up-armored, and rechristened to honor its refusal to break.
Now, the ship patrols the frontline as a symbol of relentless defiance. The moment an SOS beacon pierces the bridge static, the Dawn of Perseverance answers the call without hesitation. Dropping into low orbit through heavy anti-air fire, its battle-tested crew leaps into action. Guided by the desperate telemetry of stranded Helldivers, the destroyer's upgraded, fast-loading orbital guns fire with vengeful speed, erasing enemy hordes in a curtain of thunder. For this ship, an SOS is a promise: no one gets left behind, and the line will always hold.
