Forged in the interwar era as a Liberation-Class Escort Frigate, The Iron Gatekeeper earned its name locking down rebellious orbital jump-lanes and enforcing planetary blockades. Built with a rugged 185m hull and a 25,000-ton mass, it stood as an impenetrable wall against domestic insurgents before being mothballed during an era of peace.
Reclaimed by Hellsing Heavy Industries for the 651st Battalion, the vessel was retrofitted with EMP-shielded systems to serve as the anvil of the Black Rattlers—the primary anti-Automaton unit. Armed with 8x "Sabre" Railcannons and 7x "Prosecutor" Autocannons, it shreds machine gunships and intercepts heavy salvos. While screening capital ships across Automaton sectors, it actively hunts the Hyena Clan, who trade Super Earth intelligence with the machines. None shall pass its watch.
