RED TEAR

The RED TEAR was built in the high-gravity geostationary shipyards of Termadon, the home planet of the 9th Hellraisers. Termadon is a hyper-militarized foundry world renowned across the galaxy for producing the toughest, most hardened war machines known to humanity.

Constructing this colossal, 8-kilometer-wide station was a gargantuan undertaking that required stripping entire continents of their deep mantle mineral wealth. During the a period of twenty years of its construction, the orbital foundries ran ceaselessly. They rained down so much superheated slag and toxic, molten run-off into the atmosphere that the skies above Termadon's sprawling capital permanently burned with a violent crimson aurora. The planetary locals named this striking atmospheric phenomenon the "Red Tear", a moniker the station proudly accepted as an enduring symbol of the blood, sweat, and lives sacrificed to complete her.
