Super Destroyer — Helldiver Corps, Super Earth
“Liberty does not negotiate. Liberty arrives from orbit.”
The Exocuter of Liberty was commissioned during the height of the Automaton threat, built specifically for one purpose: to make sure no Helldiver deployed from her ship ever had to retreat.
At first, she was considered an ordinary Super Destroyer. That changed during the Battle of Vanguard-9, when an Automaton fleet ambushed the ship while she was evacuating a squad of Helldivers.
The Automaton forces disabled her engines and began boarding.
The crew refused to surrender.
For six hours, the ship fought from inside its own corridors. Helldivers and crew members defended the bridge while Automatons tore through the lower decks. When the captain finally received orders to abandon the vessel, he gave only one response:
“Negative. We still have ammunition.”
The ship’s remaining weapons fired simultaneously.
