Verdigris Troop Deployment Squadron

A group of four troop transports assigned to DEMOS Company as a large deployment squadron for ferrying troops and equipment from orbit to a planet's surface.

Each transport is of the Lusoria Assault Troop Transports class, giving large cargo space for troop and equipment storage, while also having sufficient Armor and weapons for ground support. Each transport can hold several dozen fiteteams, an exosuit squadron, or a section of FRV or Bastions or other vehicles for rapid combat deployment. As being the C71 Type variant, each transport comes equipped with two autocannon turrets for aerial support, 4 gatling turrets for anti-missile/personnel defense, and a rocket pod for heavier targets, allowing the transport to support as a large Gunship if need be. With support of Pelicans, the full squadron can deploy more than half the total of DEMOS Company's SEAF compliment or all Exosuits and Armor to the battlefield. Such transports are crucial for large scale assaults or evacuations.
