Briefing:
Dated three SEST cycles ago, a distress signal was intercepted from Un-Liberated space on a Class-C frequency. Intercept vessels sent to the location uncovered the wreckage of a colony ship, drifting in space with no signs of life.
Relocation and burial will be provided to recovered crew bodies, but our focus lies on the ship. Though nonfunctional, it's salvageable. Were we to repair vital systems and revive all eight of its thrusters, it could be repurposed for the N.O.M.A.D. fleet. This will require fuel and resources, for which we're responsible.
The way ahead is simple: collect and transport resources to the Seraphs' SES Medicus Dissidens, which has been stationed beside the wreckage to enable repair operations, so the repair crews aboard can funnel them into reviving the colony ship. To this end, a task force has been arranged to protect the site from weary Automatons while we work—sending any dead bots over for parts—but they can't halt them forever. We need fuel, yesterday.
