501st SOARD Memo: Participation in the Freedom Alliance

MEMORANDUM FOR: HEADQUARTERS OF THE FREEDOM ALLIANCE, ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE

SUBJECT: Participation of the 501st SOARD in the Freedom Alliance as an
observer and appointment of OIC Fleet Admiral Genius Play Unique as
the first and primary liaison officer


 The Command of the 501st Special Orbital Assault Raider Detachment hereby
formally announces its participation in the Freedom Alliance with the status
and the role of an observer. The primary reason for our decision to only
join the alliance as an observer, for the time being, is the still small
size of our unit at present. As we steadily grow our ranks, we will
reevaluate this decision along with our position within the alliance.

 As is customary in the Freedom Alliance, our leadership will retain full
operational control and power of command over the 501st SOARD and will take
part in alliance action at its own discretion, to the extent it deems
appropriate, particularly with regard to our primary duty in the Automaton
theater. Apart from that, our liaisons will be available to assist with
tactics, battlefield doctrine, choice of equipment, best practices, etc.

 For the purposes of coordination and communication with members of the
Freedom Alliance, as well as alliance personnel, we hereby officially
appoint Fleet Admiral Genius Play Unique as the primary liaison officer of
the 501st SOARD, effective immediately. Beyond the usual duties of a
liaison, I will also be available to assist with any strategic planning.

 Apart from the aforementioned areas of cooperation, the 501st SOARD is
also open to assist in Freedom Alliance media- and public-relations
campaigns under the condition that our primary liaison is consulted prior to
the use of 501st SOARD insignia or name for alliance purposes, as to avoid
any unintended consequences for the 501st SOARD or its future recruitment
prospects.

 The 501st SOARD is looking forward to a long-lasting, fruitful
cooperation with the Freedom Alliance and its members in the future.
