This is a story of a boy who forced is way to the top to be a Helldiver and be the one on the frontlines so no one can go through a hell life like he lived.
Super earth reporter: This is Coretta Kelly reporting to you live the Terminid escape from their farm enclosures in the eastern sectors, scientists of the Super Earth, Super Earth Federation started developing the Terminid Control System (TCS), a planet-wide bug extermination network. The TCS was scheduled to be built on the Barrier Planets of the Umlaut Sector, quarantining the bugs behind them and stopping their spread throughout the galaxy. The Helldivers were deployed to aid in the fight against the Terminids, marking the start of Operation Valiant Enclosure; simultaneously, a robotic race know as the Automatons emerged. For the operation's first phase, the Helldivers were ordered to liberate planets of Heeth and Angel's Venture; an endeavor in which they succeeded, pushing the front towards the Barrier Planets.
Kev: They be doing a lot for us lately, always wonder what do they do once they're done.
Super earth reporter: We have another news, there's been reports on the planet Brilliance, that the Terminids have escaped from their farm enclosure please be aware that there might be a lockdown, we will inform you to get into safety once the lockdown starts and rely on the helldiver to escort you out of the city.

Kev: Wait what ? shit I've seen images of those things and they do look very aggressive , i just need to stay aware once they start the lock down.
5 days have passed the media was flooded with rules and safety for the people who live in the planet Brilliance....until
Sirens starts
EVERYONE PLEASE HEAD TO THE EMERGENCY SHELTER THIS IS NOT A DRILL
Kev: Damn it gotta hurry and fast
once Kev started to leave out of his house a he opened his door and first thing he sees was the Termininds once causing a major havoc, gun shots from everywhere as the SEAF trying to defend the civilian to head to their safe location but as Kev tried to go to a route safer where he wouldn't get killed but he sees a bunch of civilian on his path killed leaving the streets with blood and the other side scream of SEAF soldiers as they get punctured by the claws of the Terminids, as Kev went running using all his stamina to get in to safety, a civilian from ahead tripped on one the SEAF soldiers dead body giving the opportunity for the bug to approach and strike, Kev immediately looked for a weapon went on to snatch off on one the SEAF soldier corpse and started shooting at the bugs giving him the time to grab her hand and made her stood up to her feet.
Kev: are you alright ?
Civilian: thank you but we must get out of here
Kev: just keep going ill cover you
As soon they kept running, Kev kept his promise that he'll keep her covered, The bugs have taken over the city the screams of the SEAF Soldier was getting lower, explosions and gunshots making the bugs screach.
Civilian: we're almost there i can see the helldivers guarding the place
Kev: thank liberty we can get out of this hellish place
As soon they approached to the location that they were headed, the helldiver saw them running running towards them, the one helldiver gave a order to keep them safe and shoot any bug that tried to attack Kev and the civilian
Helldiver 1: Keep them safe the civilian rely on us
Helldiver 2: Sir i have bad news...
Both of them had arrived to destination that needed to be in but one the helldivers approached to them
Helldiver: Halt! we are reaching the max capacity of the emergency shelter only one of you can get in until they approve to send another pelican-1 and take the other civilians that are left , so which one will go and one stays
Kev: You should go ill be here for the second pelican arrives
Civilian: This is unfair you protected me out there and now you decided to stay just for me to go !
Kev: ill be alright i have experience handling a gun
Civilian: it still unfair for me, btw my name is lucy and what is yours ?
Helldiver: We have no time the pelican is about to departure!
Kev: My name is Kev
Lucy : Please make it out safe and need to thank you properly!
Lucy with her tears in her eyes ran towards to the helldivers to escort her out of the planet , Kev will remember her short blonde hair , two blue eyes and and her cute face those features will be forever in his mind, then there's was sudden scream from one of the Helldiver squad
Helldiver 2: SWEET LIBERTY MY LEG !
Helldiver 1: Hold your position and give that diver a stim !
Helldiver 3: Sir we are out of stim and the resupply will come in 2 min
Helldiver 4 : These bugs are everywhere!
Kev: There's supplies back in the city I've seen SEAF been using it before they were wiped out
Helldiver 1: Could you take the place of one my squad until we get to the city, his leg is injured badly
Kev: but i need a armor to protect my self
Kev found a SEAF corpse laying in the ground, took the
armor that he to fight against the bugs
Kev: Alright lets go
All five of them headed to city where Kev witnessed the battle between SEAF and Terminids , once they arrived to the city the whole place was quiet.... suspiciously quiet
Kev: Follow me we are getting close
Helldiver 1: Just hang in there we are getting out of here once we get the supplies
The floor rupture with three tentacles coming out
Helldiver 3 : IMPALER!!
Helldiver 4: Every one take cover and search for the Impaler
Kev: A what ?! damnit the noise attracted the bugs over here
Helldiver 1: We need to go for the supplies, we can still use our stratagems
As the helldiver used their own stratagems against the bugs Kev see the supplies where the SEAF were fighting
Kev: over there! that's where the supplies are at
Suddenly the Impaler strike one of the helldivers killing one of them
Helldiver 1: WE HAVE TO MOVE NO-
A charger caught him off-guard striking him from behind
Helldiver 3: Shit shit they are swarming us!
Helldiver 2: you two get out here i cant walk with my injured leg, I'm going to napalm barrage this place
Helldiver 3: DONT DO IT !
A red laser light pointing up to the sky in then seconds it stared to strike down the city with flames, the screeches of the bugs while they were in flames and the impact of the napalm barrage striking down killing one of them, then Kev see the body of the Helldiver getting burned along side with bugs
Helldiver 3 : We got to move its just you and me now
They proceed to the place where the supplies are at , grabbing every ammo and stims they see but suddenly a little bug started to cry but not from pain but to call on a bug breach on them
Helldiver 3: gear up civilian we need to hold this place off
Kev : I'm with you
As the bugs rupture form the floor both of them stared to kill the bugs , they threw grenades , used every bullet that they have , they don't have to worry anymore that they're at the location where the supplies are at , day become night as the bugs were reducing but something big was a approaching
Helldiver 3 : Keep fighting we need exterminate each one of them
A loud roar coming out the floor
Kev: What the hell is that !
Helldiver 3: That's a bile titan be careful when it spits , the weak spot is the head but we need a rocket launcher go find one and aim at the head ill distract it
Kev starts his search for the rocket launcher, one of the SEAF dead body had rocket launcher
Kev : Run towards me ill take the shot
But the Helldiver has ran out of stamina and stims to keep running , the helldiver gave up as it was useless to out run the bile titan with no stamina, the bile titan caught up to him and started to spit its acid on the helldiver leaving it his body with burns but as soon the bile titan was done killing the helldiver ,it turn around.
Kev: Die you scum!
Kev took the shot hitting directly to its head killing the bile titan as it cries stumbling on the floor
Kev: .......is it over? is every bug dead ?
All the helldiver had died the only one standing is Kev a ordinary civilian with little experience with guns and have never done this before on his life.
Kev: I'm all alone now.... but that wont stop me from killing those bugs, ill kill each on of them
Kev's mind was flooded with rage remembering what the bugs have done to the people including to the helldivers , Kev is covered with terminid blood , Kev saw a helldiver statute and went to sit down next to it because it had supplies just in case the bugs will show up , but Kev adrenaline start to wore off his body wanted to get some rest , his eyes were getting heavy , he collapsed on the floor and soon his eyes starts to shut down.
The next day
Kev fell asleep but something was snuggling him , as soon when he open his eyes two cat were on top of him sleeping peacefully.
Kev: Cats? where did they come from ?
Kev saw them and decided to adopt them but suddenly he heard footsteps, its was the helldivers trying to evacuate the remaining citizens but the only citizen they saw was him holding the two cats
Helldiver: what the hell happen here ? did you do all of this ?
Kev: I was with the previous helldivers but they all died , but i fought along side them
Helldiver: interesting well we came to escort the remaining citizen but you're the only one out here so let's get you out and take you to earth super where you will be safe, and by the way are those your cats ?
Kev: Yes
They escorted Kev out the planet , he still thinks about the people that were affected and the helldiver fighting their lives , but for some reason the cats that he decided to take with him provided him comfort.
Pelican pilot: you know they told me you were the only one out there fighting against the bugs with the helldivers on your side , you should consider joining the Helldiver you will get paid good and have a nice place on super earth and I'm sure you would want that for your cats , Kev thought about it and made his decision.
Kev: ill join the helldivers
Kev will be joining the helldiver once he arrive on super earth, but the bugs wont be the only enemies that he'll be facing.
