After several tours of duty; losing their original capital ship in the final bombardments of Cyberstan; stealing the former capital ship of the 204th New Aberdonian Draft to jump full-speed into the Meridian Singularity; and losing their new ship AGAIN in the void this time, at last the Spartandiver 9th has a toy that won't break! Fresh from the factory floor to meet their miraculous escape from the Void (wandering in random directions until they got out), the Strigoi-Class Corvette will suit their democratic habits of winding up suddenly, without plan and "without warning," behind enemy lines.

For a brief span, the SES Amber-Clad came under the command of Fireteam Calico, led by Death Captain "Baseball" Marina-E588, while Volk-771 spent time in stasis recovery.
