The Weeping Ghost

The Weeping Ghost is an experimental Strigoi-Class Corvette, built to strip away the bulky, loud theater of standard orbital bombardment. Stripped of slow, heavy strategic bombers, its hyper-compact chassis is built for pure, predatory speed and zero-radar profiles.

Operating strictly in low-altitude atmospheric thermals, the corvette acts as a close-support interceptor. It utilizes rapid-fire railcannons to crack open heavy armor lines instantly, alongside twin hull-mounted torpedo tubes designed to deliver hyper-dense kinetic payloads straight into the hearts of massive illuminate structures or nesting grounds.

Because it lacks standard heavy defensive shielding, the hull is incredibly fragile; it cannot survive a prolonged orbital firefight. Instead, the vessel relies on its unmatched speed to drop into the combat grid, bleed the enemy dry with quick-cycling, precise ordnance strikes, and vanish back into the shadows of space before a counter-strike can materialize.
