~ Day 2 ~
At the early morning, i can't help but wake up to Kumo's voice talking through his phone, can't make it out who he's talking to though i think it is Atlas since we planned to ask him for help.
Kumo - "Hey Kaoru, he said he's in his lab, we can go meet him right now"
Kaoru - yawning "W-w-who?"
Kumo - "Atlas, dummy"
Kaoru - teehee "Right....right, my bad"
We get ready as Kumo set the ship's destination to Atlas's lab. Haven't seen him in a while, i usually avoid him because he's kinda weird me out, like i mean experiment on human? C'mon. Y'know he even abandon his mission just to collect samples, unreliable i say but Kumo trusts him so i will place my bet on that.
Upon arriving, we can see ships orbiting around the Lab guarding it, a bubble barrier, turrets aiming at us like it is ready to shoot us down if we were enemies, even ems field to disable everything around as a last option.
Kaoru - pointing at the defense system "Damn, all that for himself?"
Kumo - "He's rich from what he have been doing, probably run a blackmarket too"
Kaoru - "Must be selling organs from the victims he been experimenting"
When we get closer, ships from sides fly in and scan us to make sure we are friendly, after that they escort us into the ship's hangar. The guards come out and greet us with excitement, saying Atlas have been expecting us and we shall waste no time. Taking a tour around his Lab, you can see guards at every door, scientists working on projects, Delivery man pushing his cart with samples to destinations, really lively since the last time i been here.
The guards that escorted us tell us that they no longer can move further because the area ahead is restricted so they just point us where to go. After helping ourselves and found Atlas's office room, we knocked on the door and got the confirmation that we can go in.
Doors open
Atlas : "OH HI GUYS!!! LONG TIME NO SEE"

Kaoru - thinking to herself "Especially after he abandoned us middle of the mission to chase samples and butterflies"
An awkward silence between us, remembering what happened since we last met though Kumo willing to put them aside for a brighter future for all of us. I say he's too naive but he haven't die yet so it proves something
Kumo - "Sooooooooo about what we talked through the phone, i hope you can help us"
Atlas - "I kinda have no idea how to but i will do my best...as long as you pay me in samples"
Greedy bitch
Kumo - "Fine, we knew this will happen so we stocked up alot of samples for you"
Atlas - "GREAT! then what are we waiting for...oh wait i need yourself on something first*

Atlas - "Follow me into my lab, i have something to test out, C'mon! Quick!!"
Running footstep sounds
This is it guys, my worst fear for coming here is about to happen, stepping into Atlas's Lab might be the last time you guys ever see me.
Atlas running to his Lab full of excitement because he can finally test his new found serum, following behind him each steps become heavier and heavier because the odor and.....
Lab's doors open
Kaoru - "JESUS CHRIST WHAT IS THAT SMELL" as she about to puke all over the floor
Kumo - Holding his breath hard "Don't you have a vent or something, smell like a fish market in here but rotten"
Atlas - "Sorry guys, was so busy lately i forget to clean my lab"
Severed arm from a rotten corpse falls onto the floor
Atlas - Kicking away the pile of organs and intestine on the ground "Just ignore it"
A fucking buffet party for maggots and flies
Atlas - "Must be here somewhere.......AHA!" while looking through his stuffs and seem to grab a vial of some kind
Atlas - Hands the vial to Kumo "Here drink this!!"
Kumo - gulping it down "What is this"
Kaoru - Doing the gasp meme in surprise "Zero hesitation, impressive"
Atlas - "A serum i made that bring out your true self"
"True self?" Kaoru and Kumo thought to themselves
Kumo - "Damn i feel hot, is this because of the serum?"
Atlas - "Dunno, you're the first test subject"
"HUH?!" Kumo and Kaoru scream
Lights turn off
I got a bit panic because who knows what if ghosts really do exist and it is haunting this lab, i try to find a way out, bumping into stuffs, a skeleton, a corpse, stepped on to a pile of severed limbs.
Then suddenly a light turns on in the middle of the room, seemingly to be pointing at something...
Kumo - Pointing his finger into the sky "My grandma once said "Make the world revolve around you, it's more fun to think that way" "
Kaoru - mimicking his pose "My grandma once said "What the hell is wrong with him"
Atlas - "Don't you see, it's his true self"
Kaoru - With a narrative voice in the background "A chunnibyou aurafarmer?"
Atlas - shrug "I guess so"
Kumo - "Rejoice! Feel proud that you get to bask in my present! Wahahahaha"
Kumo - Strike a pose "That i am the lord of the dark flame! KumoBake!!!!"
Kaoru - "When will this stop"
Atlas - "Dunno"
Is there anything this guy knows?
Kaoru - Knock off Kumo "So Atlas, about the help do you have any idea"
Atlas - After thinking for a while "Why don't you make a radar that detects the fragments"
Atlas - "Though it is not in my expertise, i'm a scientist not engineer"
Kaoru - "Then do you atleast know any good engineer? Please help us"
Atlas - "Uhhh no...."

Atlas - "OH WAIT! I do know someone"
Kaoru - Nakano miku gasp "Oh so you do know something"
Atlas - "You know Kev? He's a great engineer maybe he can help you craft it"
Kaoru - "Never heard of him but thanks, better than nothing"
Atlas - "Here i will give you his number, ring him up when you feel like it"
Kaoru - "Thanks for your help Atlas and for not kiling us. Time for us to move"
Atlas - "Hey are you forgetting something-"
I carry Kumo and run as fast as i can back to our ship before i have to hear another word from Atlas. Got on the ship with Kumo and along with 3-4 donuts i stole from the cafeteria. Kumo wakes up and i start to recap what happened to Kumo, confuse and headache, he can't help but goes to take a nap.
With day 2 coming to an end, we got barely any clue beside a phone number to an engineer called Kev. Tired from today bullshits i too go and take a rest...Damn so hungry, should've build a buffet table in my ship. Whatever
