The subject of this document will be referred to as "El Dorado", his chosen codename, as his real name has been classified by █████████████████████.
General information:
- Name: █████████
- Age: ██
- Home Planet: Vega Bay
- Current Whereabouts: Unknown
- Affiliation: 66th Rebel Legion; Independent Concord
Origin:
Born on Vega Bay, El Dorado grew up in a lower-class region. Driven by stories of the Cyborgs killing his ancestors, El Dorado applied to join the SEAF. Accepted into the SEAF, El Dorado served as a protective officer on his home planet for around two years, before an incident occurred. Met with Truth Enforcers detaining families who had spoken seditiously, taking them to an undisclosed location, El Dorado grew violent and slaughtered the Truth Enforcers, releasing the dissidents so they could go into hiding. In order to avoid the might of the Truth Enforcers, El Dorado opted to switch shift, as a new position on Cyberstan had opened up. (It wasn't discovered he had done this until much later)
This was a guarding and anti-dissidence position, which allowed Dorado to keep an eye on the activity of several groups. He was very keen to do this, as he was desperate to quell any sign of the Cyborgs returning, or their supporters. He held this position for many months, until he assumed that hundreds were being mistreated by the SEAF on Cyberstan, forced to work in horrible conditions, and subjected to all sorts of persecution.
As thus, he fought back, becoming an underground rebel, unidentified and never traced. Eventually, he was promoted into the Helldiver Corps, the SEAF still not knowing about his illegal activities. Dorado adopted a golden traced insignia, which he spray painted wherever he terrorised.
One fateful day, during the Second Galactic War, Dorado embarked on a mission with a squad of dedicated loyalists. They travelled long and far, trying to spread Managed Democracy. However, at one point, they were called in to handle a group of dissidents. They were excited, and rushed into battle. The mission went rather smoothly, until Dorado began to sympathise with the dissidents. In order to spare their lives, Dorado executed his entire squad, hid the rebels, and went into hiding himself. He was alone, undergeared, and being hunted by Truth Enforcers.
One evening, Dorado was hiding out in a cave, when he was found by three Truth Enforcers. They were about to kill him, there and then, when suddenly, one turned and killed the others. The turncoat revealed themselves to be a Chaosdiver, and recruited Dorado there and then. Upon his arrival at Rogue V, Dorado was recognised by some Chaosdivers, as the unknown warrior who had made the golden spray paintings. They praised him for his rebellious nature, and nicknamed him 'El Dorado'.
Dorado, as he now was, quickly rose through the ranks in the Chaosdivers, becoming a noticeable threat against the Federation. However, in November 2184, Dorado decided that it wasn't enough. So, he formed a new group. The 66th Rebel Legion, or 'Gilded Renegades'. It is a small faction as of writing this. He fought strongly throughout the war, winning many victories, much to the dismay of High Command. However, shortly after the Illuminate started trying to move Meridia, this changed. Dorado grew paranoid, and struggled to trust people. He snapped, and due to his aggressive behaviour, one Chaosdiver tried to kill him. This crossed the line for Dorado, and he executed the divers who had tried to harm him, before being forcibly pushed out of the Chaosdivers for his actions, on the 8th of February 2185. Dorado was furious, and swore revenge on the Chaosdivers.
As such, he returned to the Federation under a false name, where he was quickly found out, forcing him to hide out on the Illuminate-ravaged worlds, jumping between destroyed colonies to save as many dissidents as he could. He attempted to contact the Liberty Nexus, but was quickly shut down and offered nothing but radio silence. He swore he'd make them all pay.
Strategic Report Logs:
Federation Log 9281982 | Date: 31st May 2185
It's official. The one known as El Dorado is somewhat of a growing threat. He's made no end of declarations to Super Earth, bombed hundreds of our supply transports, and killed many innocent people. His most recent crime, joining up with the Apostates. Our spies have recorded that on the 18th of May 2185, El Dorado enlisted to fight alongside the Apostates, creating an alliance that threatens the fabric of our beloved Super Earth.
He is being hunted as we speak. Further updates will come when new information is gained.
Federation Log 9282575 | Date: 8th November 2185
It's been a while since we last had information on Dorado, but we finally found something. There's been a large increase in Gilded Renegade activity around Varylia 5. We suspect that Dorado is making a play to capture something in the Ymir Sector. It's unknown what, and for what reason, but we will continue monitoring.
On a side note, it has been noted that Dorado has given orders for communication and surveillance equipment to be set up on Varylia 5. It is advised that any Federation forces on site take these out ASAP.
Federation Log 9312222 | Date: 31st January 2186
We found another trace of Dorado. Security footage of the Center for the Containment of Dissidence shows El Dorado extracting dissident prisoners from the borders of the facility, with a small strike team comprised of rogue SEAF operatives. They appear to be packing silenced arms and explosives consistent with what was recently issued to our █████████ Regiment.
We will be keeping a close eye on operations in the sector, and security within and around the Center for the Containment of Dissidence is being upgraded as this report is being issued.
Federation Log ███████ | Date: ██/██/████
This is an emergency transmission. Comms networks have picked up a scrambled transmission into the Valdis Sector from a familiar looking source. Our cryptographers believe it to be a message sent from the one they call El Dorado, direct to Cyberstan. This confirms our worst fears: the return of the cyborgs has signalled rebels to side with them. Current decryption of the message has led to the following conclusion: El Dorado is ████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████

Federation Log 9691923 | Date: 16th July 2186
This is the most recent transmission regarding the dissident leader known as "El Dorado". We have been silently tracking rebel operations for the last several months, and recent events have shown that the prior-mentioned alliance has been dissolved. El Dorado is back to open war with the Legion of Cyberstan. It is currently unknown what provoked the renewal of warfare between them, but this can be considered as nothing but a good omen for Super Earth.
In additional news, albeit less good, it would seem that El Dorado has established some sort of defence network to maintain control over the Mox, Fury, and K systems. This is a blatant act of war against the Federation, and will be punished accordingly, once we have returned to a stable enough operating status to do so.
Most recent tracking has recorded that El Dorado is currently conducting operations on Varylia 5, in accordance with the current Major Order. We shall let him believe he is free to do as he wishes for now, but should he cross any more lines, we will move on him.
"True Liberty cannot exist under Super Earth. Only tyranny."
— Commander El Dorado, 66th Rebel Legion
